My Half Birthday

Time flies when you're having fun. I turned 6 months old last Thursday. That, also, happened to be my grandpa's birthday. They came down to visit me as part of their celebration. Below are some pictures from the week:
Happy birthday Grandpa, and happy half-birthday to me!

Mmmm, sweet potatoes!

No, that's not my first goatee. I'm experimenting with new foods. So far I've tried bananas, oatmeal, and sweet potatoes. My favorite has been sweet potatoes! Yummy! I can't wait to see what new foods mom has for me this week! We also had plenty of fun with friends and family.
Here are some pictures from the rest of the week's happenings:
My first trip to Taylor's Bakery
My pouty face
Fun with my first cousin, once removed (that's a mouthful) Marcy
Playing with my Great Aunt Judy
My first trip in Emerson's van
Just let us play, mom!
Let's make the same face this time...

My First Easter

Here are some pictures from my first Easter.
Friday:

We colored Easter eggs.
My fingers got stained.
The finished product.
I got a card from my great grandma.

I received a huge Easter basket from my Great Uncle Tom, Great Aunt Teresa, and Brandon. I liked all the fun goodies!
Sunday:
We got up and got ready for church.
I got to wear my tie and new Easter shoes.

We took some pictures outside.
Then we took some pictures with my friends at church.
Me and my Mimi.
Emerson and I were Mindy's Easter basket.
Allison and I were not enjoying the "paparazzi" flashes.
I just want to cuddle, Allison!
Three Easter peeps.
Pictures with (most of) our small group family.
We ate Easter dinner with Aunt Beth and Uncle Evan. They took pictures with us outside.
Monday (this has nothing to do with Easter):
We tried bananas today. They tasted very different from what I am used to eating. I think mom will have to keep working on these with me.
Check my album out for more photos...there were so many from this weekend that we couldn't fit them all in the blog.

What a great week!

Happy Easter everyone!
The past week has been so much fun! I can hardly wait to tell you all the things I've been up to!
My buddy Emerson is back in town, so we spent lots of time hanging out with him. We played and "chatted" with him on Monday. He told me all about his trip to Florida, and we rocked matching hats.
Then we had our Easter pictures on Wednesday.

We also got to spend some time with my favorite girl, Allison. The three of us shared some fun links Thursday and Friday. (Look for some Easter pictures of the three musketeers next week!)
Last weekend I visited my grandparents. It was my grandma and great aunt Owi's birthdays. Can you tell that I had a great time with them?

I got a card in the mail this week from Emerson. I like to get mail!
I got to meet some very special people, this week, too. Mom used to nanny for triplets (below: Jakob, Cade, and Daryl). She started watching them when they were my age. They are now finishing up the 2nd grade and getting ready to turn 8 years old. They made a special trip over to see me, along with their mommy, Heidi. It was great to meet them! They sure are good at the guitar hero game. I like to bounce to the beat! I hope I grow up to be a big boy like them!
We also put the jogging stroller together this week. Now mommy can go for runs without yours truly having such a bumpy ride. It rained several days so we went for a walk when the sun was shining. We'll take it out for a real run next week.
Of course there's always fun to be had with mommy and daddy.

I am really looking forward to my first Easter. I've heard all about how Jesus loves us so much that he died for us, but death was no match for Him, and he rose again! I hope that you take time this weekend to remember God's love and sacrifice for us, and celebrate Jesus's resurrection...our Lord is so much cooler than a bunny!!!
